Eger

It is a true paradise for Hungarian wine gourmets and a famous spa town with a thermal bath. The city is also known for its baroque monuments. Nearby is the ‘Valley of the Beautiful Lady’ (Szépasszony-völgy), full of wine cellars, which cannot be missed when traveling along the wine route, since here are the most famous wine storages, carved in volcanic tuff, which perfectly fulfils its role - it provides excellent ventilation and constant temperature, which will surely be appreciated and confirmed by real connoisseurs.

Aggteleki Nemzeti Park

Aggtelek National Parkis located on the border with Slovakia, near Miskolc. It is a must-see for all tourists traveling from Poland. It is famous for its caves added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, the most famous of which is the Baradla Cave, considered a real pearl, the most beautiful structure of this type in the whole of Hungary.

Bükk Mountains

Entirely located in Hungary, they are placed in the Inner Western Carpathians massif, considered part of the North-Hungarian Highlands. They cover an area of about 60 km long and up to 50 km wide. In winter, they are famous for skiing that is more and more popular, while in other seasons of the year, they are a region that is frequently visited by tourists who appreciate active recreation. Those who go hiking on their mountain trails will be rewarded with amazing views and a clean, healthy climate.

Szentendre

The city is located on the Dunajec River in the northern part of Hungary, only 20 km from Budapest. It is a popular tourist and holiday resort. While walking along the winding and narrow streets and the passage over the Dunajec River, you can admire the historic buildings in the Baroque and Rococo styles. Tourists are also attracted by multiple cafes and restaurants. According to manytourists, theiratmosphere can not be compared to any other throughout the country.

Pécs

Located on the slopes of the mountains in the southern part of Hungary, it is the fifth largest city in the country. Balatonfüred

Probably everyone has heard about the holidays spent at Lake Balaton. But not everyone has experienced them yet, which should definitely be made up for. One of the most charming towns in where it is worth planning a holiday is the small Balatonfüred, which additionally prides itself to be called a spa. Healing treatments in the local mineral waters began to be used as early as 1722. Incoming tourists will also appreciate the excellent holiday infrastructure and delicious white wines, where the Olaszriesling brandrules.

Badacsony, Pécs

It is a resort town at Lake Balaton, which is undoubtedly considered a true Mecca for wine lovers. It is especially famous for Olaszrizling wine, characterized by an exceptionally interesting aroma of bitter almonds. Badascony should be visited by both wine connoisseurs and those who want to capture as much joy, sincerity and true taste from their stay in Hungary as possible.

Tapolca Cave

The unique atmosphere and a truly cinematic scenery that allows you to experience one-of-a-kind attractions - this is guaranteed by the Topolca Cave, and more precisely, the underground river located in it. The cave’s part that is open to tourists can be visited only from the perspective of a boat. When seen from a boat,the illuminated tunnels and rock floors make a really big impression.

Festetics Palace in Keszthely

Keszthely is a town located northwest of Lake Balaton. Since you can combine water recreation with visiting many nearby monuments, it is constantly very popular among tourists. It cannot be denied that the most important reason why large numbers of tourists visit Keszthely is the Festetics Palace. This neo-baroque building dates from 1745. The architectural craftsmanship of this place can be seen especially in the sculptures, balconies and columns that decorate the walls. Inside, there are 101 rooms, including a spectacular library with bookshelves 8 meters high.

Thermal Lake in Héviz

This is the largest natural thermal lake in Europe. It is located a few kilometres west of the southern tip of Lake Balaton. The area of the lake is 4.4 ha, and the depth is up to 38.5 metres. It is characterized by high temperature, therefore - apart from its medicinal properties - the water of the lake is used as anareafor the cultivation of tropical water lilies imported from India in the 19th century. At the bottom, there is peat and peloid extracted for medicinal purposes.
